Research on Direct Power Control Strategy Based on Voltage Controlled Virtual Synchronous Generator

To support the “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” goal, new energy is poised to explode, power generation converter simultaneously facing challenges. The conventional current-controlled can quickly transmit active on DC bus grid. However, for weak grid, stability margin of grid-connected system reduced one hand, which easily cause resonance oscillation; other current controlled cannot actively respond frequency voltage fluctuation offer support. virtual synchronous generator (VVSG) used improve small signal stability; however, its response speed too slow meet requirements fast following command. Although a voltage/current dual-mode switching control scheme put forward achieve characteristics complementary voltage-controlled converter, structure intermediate variable required realize mode switching, prone large shocks failures. In view problem, direct strategy based VVSG proposed. raised outer loop, output are analyzed. Compared with control, perform inertia characteristic in grid strong by adjusting λ, without following. Moreover, two be smoothly transited. addition, ability source maintained under both characteristics. Finally, effectiveness proposed verified through simulation results.
